"I'm all right," you hear me whisper...

[Verse 1:]
"Don't say anything,"
I hear you whisper.
"She doesn't need to know,"
I hear you say.
You think that I don't know,
You think that I can't tell.
The secret that you hold,
Could possibly be my hell.

[Chorus:]
A slap in the face,
A shameful disgrace.
The tears in her eyes
Aren't just the diguise
To hide the anger,
She thought she misplaced.
And then she disappeared (she disappeared),
Gone without a trace.

[Verse 2:]
A sweet surrender of emotion
A simple utter of devotion
Another question answered
Another secret told
Glancing at my shitty hand
I think it's time to fold,
Before the playas in this card game,
Can figure out just what I hold.

[Chorus:]
A slap in the face,
A shameful disgrace.
The tears in her eyes
Aren't just the diguise
To hide the anger,
She thought she misplaced.
And then she disappeared (she disappeared),
Gone without a trace.

[Bridge:]
"I'm all right,"
You hear me whisper.
"I'll be fine,"
You hear me say.
And maybe I am truthful.
Or maybe it's all a lie.
But you don't need to know.
Because I'm through with all
the lies you told.
And all I have left
is a simple disappearing act

[Chorus:]
A slap in the face,
A shameful disgrace.
The tears in her eyes
Aren't just the diguise
To hide the anger,
She thought she misplaced.
And then she disappeared (she disappeared),
Gone without a trace.

[Repeat Chorus]

"I'm all right," you hear me whisper...

======

I will admit I wrote this just now. I will also admit it's was written with anger. I'll also admit it turned into something more. I was mad at a friend, yet this turned out more like a break-up song. Oh well. I'm not sure what to call it, though. Any ideas?

It's Just Too Little Too Late

*Sigh* Long time no entry, eh? I believe I promised one a while back. This one will be considerably longer. I think.

*Breathes through nose* I guess I should start with my current self. I straightened my hair (well, as much as it is relatively possible to do). I found a new love for the song "Too Little Too Late." Obviously. I'm miffed at one friend, confused with another, and just completely tired with a third. The third isn't even really a friend, but I won't get into that one. Heaven knows how much I'd regret it.

School has been okay. I find that I don't care as much. I went from straight A's to 4 A's, 2 B's, and 1 C. I know, I shouldn't say anything, but if you knew me you'd know how horrible that is.

But then again, the C is in Phys-Science. I hate Phys-Science.

Anyway, the only subjects I really care about are art, p.e., and english. I know, "Where the fuck does english fit in?" It just comes easiest for me. The rest of school is just a hassle. I have more friends since I've opened up, but I dunno. Something's missing.

Home life is alright. Gramma moved in. We must be driving her crazy. Mom and I are a little rocky in terms of 'endearment', but it's better than usual. As always I hate Bobby. He should die. This may sound mean, as he is my brother, but I seriously wouldn't miss him if he died. Don't tell Mother Dearest I said that. Dad is never home, cuz he's working on this car everyday after work. And Tommy's sick. Again. Patches hates me. Won't come near me. Why? I don't know. Maybe she's still made that I'm the one who shoved her into the bath tub for her monthly grooming. Yeah, that's probably it.

I have the urge to right a story, a new one. Alisha and I came up with a really good one. It's a work in progress, but it's pretty good. Tis about second chances. An interesting concept.

Erm... I don't really know what else to put. And I'm tired. Good thing I have the day off tomorrow, due to elections and such.

Drifting,
Chrissa

Rawr

>.<

Life is sucking some serious crack-monkey pants right about now. Tomorrow is moving day (convinced Mother to leave the computer out until then. At least something went right. ^_^ ), and I've missed... *counts silently on fingertips* 12 days of school. Not all at once, mind you, but over the course of a month. Lemme tell you, the attendence office just loooooooves me.

So, my eye infection is, like, going up and down in terms of getting better. I'm on six different medications; three eye-drops and three pills. One of them pills is a giant horse pill and I have to be on it for a fucking year. It taste like shit, just so you know (I also tend to get vulgar when I'm frustrated. So virgin eyes should turn away.) BUT my eye is still itching like HELL and I want to scratch the FUCK out of them, but then I probably wouldn't be able to SEE out of them, which would defeat the whole purpose of my HORSE PILL, which is supressing the infection so I can KEEP MY EYESIGHT.

DAMN MEDICAL SCIENCE, DAMN YOU TO HELL. I SWEAR, JUST KILL ME NOW AND BE DONE WITH IT.

Okay. I'm done ranting. For now. ^.^

No, seriously. I'm done. On to more pressing matters.

Anyway, moving day. Yeah. Did I mention I was moving? Not very far; about three miles. Needed a bigger house. This is the sixth move since 2001. Sucks. Eh, not really this time, cuz I like the house (My room rocks. The boys can't get to it without walking through Grandma's room. Listening-to-music-without-being-annoyed, here I come.).

*Sigh* Well, I think I'm done. I'll post again once I finish my short story. The rough draft is pretty much done, except a paragraph or two, and then I have to type it up in class. Maybe I'll type it up in here first. Tis pretty quick if you're a fast typer. Which I am. Funny, Dad hates it when I type. Says the clacking makes his ears ring. Lol. Alrighty then, see ya later.

Peeved,
Chrissa }i{

Squee! I'm an International Traveling Hopeful!

Hey peeps. I have good news, and it has nothing to do with saving money on car insurance. I got a letter in the mail last week (yeah, I know. "Last week?!? And you're only mentioning it now!?" Sorry, I've been sick, and I forgot. Lol.)

Anyway, I got this letter in the mail from People to People Studnet Ambassador Programs, which was founded by former President Eisenhower. It's a travel program for American students, so they can learn about different cultures. I got invited to go to New Zealand and Australia next summer! Ahhh!! I sooooooo cannot wait. Albeit, I might not go (money is an issue, y'know), but I am gonna go to the information meeting in October. Tis soooo exciting!!
The Field... and other writing ramblings

So, I have to write this short story in English I for Ms. Swindell. I already wrote a vignette about my friend Marguerite. I shall put it here.

Marguerite

Marguerite Elizabeth Reynolds. A poetic soul trapped in workers' clothes. A dedicated sister worried for her loved ones. A young woman wise beyond her years. An energetic humanitarian with the ears of a librarian. A trustworthy friend with an enormous heart.

The day starts early, when the sun pokes over the horizon. She's awake. Getting morning chores done in the rush before school. She brushes and braids her dark chocolate hair, and cleans the glasses that hide her large, brown eyes. Her little sister needs help with her homework; she sacrifices a quick breakfast to ensure her sibling's success. Running late, she grabs her books and power walks to the bus stop. She makes it there with seconds to spare and hops on the crazy mode of transportation. The portable walkman comes out of her bag as she reaches her seat, to block out the monotonous yells and screeches of the hyper children with the familiar notes of a country song. When the yellow bus arrives at her school, the first third of the day is complete.

Her classes are simple enough. Intelligence goes a long way with her teachers. They don't always see her, no, but they do recognize her effort. The effort to progress to the next grade scar-free, and quite possibly get into that new honors class. Creative Writing gets the most of her attention. Poetry, stories, and quotes flow from her pencil as easily as blood through her veins. The world makes sense in this classroom, in this region of her brain, where everything is free to her own interpretations. Finally the last bell rings, and she's caught up in the flood to the buses. She sighs: two thirds of her day are gone.

Arriving home means arriving at work for Marguerite. The animals need care, as well as her sister and the family fruit stand down the street. Parents are at work, she has authority for the moment, and tries to bring structure to this section of daylight. Neighbors, youngsters, pets, and of course her sister Ann, leave little room for fun and games. She's a teenage girl who was forced to grow up too fast. She doesn't mind. This is her lifestyle. But then again, her world is easier said than done.

Evening comes, inviting the moon and relaxation with it. She stays up later tonight, listening to a light rain and savoring precious moments alone. The tolling clock announces a late hour, and she sighs for what feels like the umpteenth time that day. She needs sleep for the next day of learning and work. Falling asleep with a book in her lap is the finishing line. All thirds of the day have past, and rest will rejuvinate her for another set.

Marguerite Elizabeth Reynolds. An advisor to her friends. A calm, comforting face in rough times. The sister I wish I had. And all it takes is practice to weasel a smile or laugh from her neutral features.

I got an A on it. I'm quite proud. Anyway, Ms. Swindell said she loved it, and she can't wait to read my short story. I've already got much of it planned out in head. Well, not really planned, but more like little bits and pieces of theories and plot lines scattered about in my brain cavity. I shall jot down some ideas here as well, for the sake of organization. (And the use of LJ cuts. Love them things.) I call it The Field.

Characters: Lily Arbors; Natalie Dennis (yeah, yeah I use that name in everything.); Lily's parents Jake and Amelia Arbors; Matilda Smith (character from an old fanfic); Mr. Munsfelt, rickety old man; and Lily's tabby cat Stripes.

Setting: Present time, beginning set in midwest, middle and end in outskirts of a city.

Plot: Lily Arbors is moving again, and her best friend Natalie has mixed emotions. Lily leaves her friend in the midst of a fight, and has to make her way in a new town with only the support of her parents and her trusty tabby. But maybe the soccer ball she's owned since grade school can help her find friends in this new chapter in her life.

Hmm.... I'm gonna have so much fun with this. My brain is already cranking out ideas....

Anyway, won't be updating for the next few days. My dad works for Executive Coach Builders, a limousine builder, and we have to deliver a car to Chicago, my hometown. Dad normally heads up the warranty department, but since we haven't been to Chicago in FOREVER, he asked the boss to let him take the car. And I get to go with. I consider it a birthday present. Lmao. I told ya my grandma was moving in, right? Well, we're gonna pick her up while were visiting. I get to see my favorite cosuin Sarah, too.

Oh yeah, Mom got into an accident. The tire popped off the car. She's alright, but it still sucks.

Okay, I have to go. I'll try and write tomorrow before I leave. TTYL.

Tired,
Chrissa }i{

Marauder Madness

Oh... so... tired... Must... type... faster...

Okay, yeah, I'm tired but the internet has me hooked. =]

Anyway, I'm ready to admit I have a problem. I, CrimsonChrissa, am hereby obsessed with the Marauder Era! Seriously, Sirius is... *drool*. James is just.... *drool*. Remus has that whole brainy-mysterious-bookworm thing going on (Quite possibly dorky. I love dorks. *drools again*.) And I adore Lily. I relate to her personality. Peter and Snape... well... they can go die. Heehee.

For sake of Everywhere She Goes (and maybe to enjoy myself) I shall figure out a little about these characters.

Hmmm. I'll start with Sirius, I think. Padfoot here, I can imagine, would technically be one of those guys who would annoy me to no end in real life. Cocky, lady's man, can-do-anything-including-picking-his-nose-and-still-look-gorgeous, the class clown type... *Sigh* I can name about twenty guys of the top of my head who are exactly like this and I cannot by any means stand them. So what is it about Sirius that I love so much anyway? By all laws of nature, I should hate him as much as I hate Malfoy *gags*. Hmmm... *thinks hard* Ding! I got it. Tis because when we first read about him, he was older and mature. And then we got to see him be all stupid and dumb. Lol. Still... I must admit... *drool*...

Okay, I'm done. =] =] =]

Next please! Er... Let's get a quicky in on Remus. The brain, quiet, responsible, (gasp!) werewolf, brave... This is screaming "dork." to me (except the whole brave thing. thats a plus =] ... and the werewolf thing. lol, that can be overlooked). But I don't mind of course. Dorks are hot. =]

Okay. James time. Squee! But alas, I have encountered the same problem as with dear Padfoot. He would be the guy I despise! But he does not have the same solution as Sirius. I dunno. I think I just like arrogant charming guys deep down. Plus, he's sweet on Lily. And Lily strikes me as the so-absorbed-in-her-work-she's-not-even-really-noticed-until someone-makes-her-angry type. Lol. And, well, I'm that type. I'm probably way off on Lils' character but whatev. I'm just one of the quiet girls who never gets noticed by a guy, and a guy that actually notices someone like me is a rarity. So, yeah, I'm impressed. Lmao.

Done. I promise. =]

Now feeling like an utterly silly fan girl,
Chrissa }i{

Yawn

So today not much happened. I stayed home from school. I don't know why, but I woke up and was totally out of it. I was dizzy and tired and this bad feeling in my stomach was bothering me and yuck... But anyway, I stayed home and slept all day. I woke up around four and talked with Alisha quickly. Then I sat around, doing nothing until Lexie called me. We had a good conversation, and apparently her and Amber missed me in Art class. So that's really all I did. I got a package from my aunt and uncle, though. They sent me this gorgeous shirt and a great skirt. I just need shoes to go with it now. Lol.

Okay, I always have to include updates on my projects. So I'll start with Sidekick. I hate to say it, but I might have to set it aside. I love the story, but I'm terribly caught up in Everywhere She Goes. I personally like Sidekick better, because it's Harry/Hermione and Ron/Luna (favorites ships. Also love Lily/James and Sirius/OC.), but ESG has more of a story to it already in the first chapter. Sidekick is much slower, and will take longer to write and develop. I'm really far on ESG already. Only on chapter one, as opposed to the four chapters I have up on Sidekick. But whatever. I will get these stories done.

Okay. My show is on. Be back tomorrow.

Tired,
Chrissa }i{

Chill Town had a Meltdown

Today had to be the best birthday EVER! I got to school and Elizabeth gave me a a gift (This awesome twirler, a Secret Message plant, and CHOCOLATE!!!), Lexie gave me an adorable little cat card, and I got a ton of comments on my myspace. And Leesha sent me an e-card yesterday. And Mom gave me this cute little handmade candle and cnadle holder. I feel so special. Happy 15th to me! Okay, on to more pressing matters.

Today, on CBS, was an episode of Big Brother All-Stars, one of my favorite reality shows in the world. This season has been going absolutely crazy, but today, on my BIRTHDAY, things ACTUALLY went right. Will got evicted! YAY! That evil lying backstabbing manipulator is finally gone! And Janelle has regained my support. I hope she wins. It would be nice if Erika won, too, but she scum bagged Danielle. I wanted Danielle to win more than anyone... but she got evicted. Damn. Anyway, I've been thinking it over. The final three is Erika, Janelle, and Boogie (Will's other half in the alliance known infamously as "Chill Town," where only Will and Boogie get a "Cool Kid Club Card."). Boogie threw a hissy fit during the part one of the final Head of Household competition, and quit that part early. He proclaimmed, in front of his dedicated "showmance" Erika, that neither of the girls can win by taking each other. The logic behind this is insane, but no one ever said Boogie was the most competent person alive. So, I was thinking, Janelle is most likely to win. Just because she's the best player (after Will, of course. He did win during his season. He has to get some sort of credit.). It's All-Star season. People in the jury are going to vote for the best player. That's Janelle. She's a shoe in. It doesn't matter who she takes. But if she doesn't get to the final two (which is totally a fat chance), Erika would win. Boogie never did anything. I always saw him as Will's evil henchman. But whatever. One of the girls will win. Definitely.

Hmm... What next... Oh yeah. My project. Everywhere She Goes has gone under some serious plot changes. I sat in 4th period today and mapped the majority of it out all nice and neat. It's going to be longer than I thought, but easier to write than Sidekick. Sidekick has a lot of internal conflict in it, and that's terribly difficult to write. Then again, that's why I'm writing it. For the challenge. But back to ESG. The main plot has a lot to do with a bet. Then there's two subplots involving Remus and Lily's friend Natalie (made her up. Natalie Dennis is my property. back off.), and Sirius and James. The SB/JP thing is only an argument. No slash. I can't write/read slash. It's too difficult for me. Others can feel free to write slash, but I'm just not comfortable reading it.

On to school. Stagecraft was pretty easy. I got to work with the jigsaw (hate jigsaw), circular saw, and table saw. Which kinda sucks. I'm partial to the power drill and chop saw, but whatever. Art was hilarious (Johnny Depp in his parachute!!), science was boring, history was easy, english was... eh. I'm a little iffy on my english classes. My teacher is a little out there. I suppose I'll learn more this way. Gym was much fun. Played softball (I hit the ball! YAY!). Beth, Roxy, and I all planned out next month's trip. This month we went bowling (I'll be sharing pictures sometime soon), and next month we're going rollie-skating! I can rollie-skate way better than I can bowl, so I'm very pleased. I might suggest going mini-golfing the month after, and Christmas shopping at the mall the month after that. Lol, I love having planned trips. I must remind myself to study for that Algebra test tomorrow.

I think I've written enough here. I should be updating my myspace, but I won't. Be back tomorrow!

Finally fifteen,
Chrissa }i{

Happy Birthday to me!

Today I turn fifteen! Everyone, feel free to clap! No, just kidding. I'm not really that excited. I shuld be sleeping right now anyway. But alas, the call of the keyboard awoke me, and I had to write this little project I'm working on. It's a HP fanfiction. Lily / James. It's a working title, but for now I call it "Everywhere She Goes." I know it won't stay that way long. I always change titles at least twenty times before actually posting something. I'm also working on my big project, Sidekick. A trio thing, you know, after the war and school. But I'm sure all this talk of fanfiction doesn't interest you in the least, so I shall move on.

Right now, I'm finding it extremely hard to concentrate. I mean, I have my customary piece of Wrigley's gum (I need a piece in my mouth in order to do anything correctly.), but yet I can't concentrate on a simple blog post! Maybe it's the silly television in the background. Someone left it on the military channel, and I'm much too lazy to get up and turn it off. And normally I would. I'm big on the whole "don't litter, and save your electricity" concept. But I guess sometimes I just have to have a lazy, unconcentrative (I highly doubt that's a word.) day. Or night, rather. Or early morning. Whatever.

I think I'll get going and fiddle with this a bit more. I love exploring. Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend!

Slowly getting sleepy,
Chrissa }i{
